  • CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention
    Considered the worldwide standard for crisis prevention and intervention training, CPI is rooted in the core philosophy that provides for the care and safety of everyone involved in a crisis situation. The program’s proven strategies provide the skills to safely and effectively respond to anxious, hostile or violent behavior while balancing the responsibilities of care.
  • Migrant English Language Learners (MELL)
    Empowering educators through effective and relevant professional development and technical assistance to ensure equitable education and maximize the potential of cultural and linguistically diverse students.
  • Missouri Equity Lab
    Ensuring that all students have access to quality instructional practices regardless of socio-economic status, race or geographic location by analyzing data that indicates inequity in learning opportunities, identifying the causes and developing strategies for addressing it.
  • Special Education (SPED)
    Assisting school districts with special education programming, professional development and technical assistance to improve the academic performance and postsecondary outcomes for students with disabilities.

    Ensuring that Missouri students will have the knowledge, skills and experiences to make successful transitions to post-secondary options based on their educational and career goals.
  • Literacy Consultants K-12
    Providing professional development, observation and feedback, coaching and LETRS training that is rich in research and experience to work with schools that captures the comprehensive nature of literacy including word recognition, assessment, vocabulary, comprehension and writing.

  • Missouri Model Districts (DCI & MMD)
    Improving the educational outcomes for all students, especially students with disabilities, through an evidence-based professional development approach focused on district-level implementation of effective educational systems and practices.
  • Missouri Teacher Development System (MTDS)
    Created to help support new teachers, early career teachers, teacher mentor and future teacher leaders with professional development to enhance their skills, provide networking opportunities and retain educators within our schools. This program also includes a Grow Your Own cohort to help identify and recruit new teachers.
  • National Board Certification
    Certification opportunity to connect professional learning with classroom practice bringing to life a teacher’s experience, helping them reflect on individual student learning needs and demonstrate their commitment to excellence in the classroom.

Provide an ongoing system of learning and support designed to strengthen the capacity and influence of our educators and educational leaders

 

  • CSIP Development Support
    Designed to help districts in build capacity, create and integrate an effective Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP). As part of MSIP-6, a district’s CSIP plan will be 30% of the continuous improvement APR score.
  • Leadership Academy
    A nationally recognized, professional development opportunity for school leaders to explore effective leadership practices through learning experiences, cohort meetings and interactions with local and national experts. Academy participants are selected through an application process.
  • Missouri Leadership Development System (MLDS)
    Designed to provide practical learning responsive to the diverse and challenging demands of leadership roles at all stages of a career. Grow your collaborative network and transformational leadership skills through a year-long cadre of professional learning experiences specifically tailored to develop your capacity across multiple domains of leadership.
  • Missouri Teacher Development System (MTDS)
    Created to help support new teachers, early career teachers, teacher mentor and future teacher leaders with professional development to enhance their skills, provide networking opportunities and retain educators within our schools.   • Teachers Academy
    A year-long program that meets monthly for teachers to acquire and expand their knowledge of the pedagogical skills necessary to meet the needs of today's classrooms. An essential element of the experience is to collaborate and share. Academy fellows are expected to implement their new learning and share their experiences.

    A framework for building community through authentic dialogue and responding to harmful behavior through processes that establish accountability, develop empathy and seek to make things right. This framework deepens the community experience for all students and staff and adds a restorative option to traditional discipline, rather than replacing it.
  • School-Wide Positive Behavior Support (SW-PBS)
    An evidence-based process for creating safe and orderly learning environments by employing effective systems, practices and data-based decision-making consistently and with fidelity.

Technology

EducationPlus can help school districts with best practices for embedding technology in instructional design. We help schools utilize their wired classrooms to their fullest capability and integrate these tools and technology to improve student performance. Studies show that by fostering creativity, collaboration and communication through technology, students are more motivated to learn.

    EducationPlus is an International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) affiliate and connects with affiliates nationwide to collaborate with peers, share best practices and help lead the transformation of education. ISTE's innovative offerings include the ISTE Conference and Expo and the widely adopted ISTE Standards for learning, teaching and leading in the digital age.
