Call for Proposals

Calling all English Learner Educators! Have you been successful in your school or district connecting with EL students or families? Are you willing to share what has worked for you with other educators? We want you to present at the upcoming ELevate conference!

ELevate 2025 will be held on June 3 - 4, 2025, at Fort Zumwalt West High School. We’re also taking ELevate on the road! This upcoming year, we will also host a one-day ELevate conference in Kansas City on June 5, 2025, at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center.

Content strands include Summative and Formative Assessment, Instructional Practices for English Learners, Leadership & School Culture, School & Community Resources, and Student & Family Support. This year, we’ve added additional questions to our session form around suggested audience for your session, based on last year’s conference feedback.

You will notice that the session submission form asks you about your interest in also facilitating at the Kansas City leg of the conference. By selecting ‘yes’, you are indicating interest in learning more and does not automatically commit you to facilitating in Kansas City.
