Adam Scimone helps our member districts by developing tailored learning opportunities and professional development programs. Adam began his career as a scientist and in 2008, moved into education as a marine science instructor in the Florida Keys. He later transitioned into a formal classroom setting where he spent time teaching secondary science, overseeing a middle school gifted program and working as an instructional coach. Adam was the 2017 Kirkwood School District Teacher of the Year and a Saint Louis Regional Teacher of the year. He is passionate about fostering curiosity and wonder in young people.
