This hands-on, two-day professional learning experience is designed to help educators build AI literacy while exploring meaningful classroom applications. Develop an understanding of how generative AI works, learn practical strategies for using AI to support planning, differentiation, feedback, and assessment, and create classroom-ready resources tailored to your content areas. Between sessions, educators will have the opportunity to apply their learning in practice and reflect on their experiences with colleagues.​

As automation reshapes entry-level roles, the traditional path from school to the workforce is shifting. This session bridges AI literacy, K-12 career pathways and real-world employer needs using the ISTE/ASCD AI-Ready Graduate Profile as a shared framework. Together, district leaders, counselors, educators and business partners will confront "talent debt" (the risk of losing foundational human skills like judgment, communication and adaptability in an automated world) and map where AI competencies currently live in your schools. From there, we will aim to build an actionable roadmap for work-based learning and apprenticeship pathways that prepare students for your region's changing economy.
